Rutger
Hauer - (Roy Batty), es un actor de impresionante
presencia física, de la que hace gala sobradamente en
las ultimas secuencias de la película.
Este
actor holandés nació en Breukelen en 1944 y debuta en
el cine en 1973 de la mano del también holandés Paul
Verhoeven con el filme Delicias Turcas. El
vigor con el que dotó al personaje llamo la atención
de productores americanos que le animaron a cruzar el
charco.
Su
replicante en Blade Runner es sin duda la
interpretación mas celebre de su carrera y le convierte
en un actor de bastante fama en la primera mitad de los
años ochenta protagonizando un buen numero de películas
: Clave Omega, Lady Halcon, El
cuarto hombre, Los señores del acero, Carretera
al infierno, y más recientemente : Peligrosamente
unidos y Buffy, la cazavampiros.
